Anyone who knows me well, knows that print work is my passion. Runway is fun, the friendships, the work, and sometimes even the laughs we get from the lag!! But in my heart, I have always modeled because of the incredible designers found in Second Life. With an exceptional photographer, like my beautyful friend Leah McCullough in this instance, you can create one of a kind pieces of art unique to anything in the real world and Second Life. I often print them and place them in a photo album for a coffee table book in my real life home. I am never disappointed with the treasures I find in Mila Tatham’s shop. In fact the hat and dress on my gravatar is another fine example of Mila’s fashions.
In this genre of “wearable art” Ms. Mila Tatham is always leagues ahead of most designers. In a large way, she is truly a haute couture designer because her pieces are always one of a kind. I wish I could spend a moments time in her brain feeling her visions because she makes romance and whimsy from shiny metals, softer flowers, serene laces and bustling taffeta’s better than any designer I’ve met. Her greatest asset is her ability to bring out the unexpected, the creative, the whimsical, and often the surreal that truly only could be enjoyed and fulfilled in a virtual platform. So if you wish to create, to live and breathe beyond the measures of your imagination, I would highly suggest wandering a spell in SoliDea FOlies, the store is chock full of inspiring pieces ideal for making yourself a real and beautyful work of art.
