These are all old re-blog pictures, so I hope you will forgive me multiple use. I still style fantasy, I had one shot with Skip just two days ago in fact. I can’t wait to see what his creative mind makes of it. There are two things that have always kept me “tied” to SL. The good charitable works done here and the ability to recreate fantasy. Skip and I have made quite a few fantasy pieces together. I plan to one day create a children’s book with a story about elves, pixies and sprites and use some of the characters we have created. But for now, I want to bring some of them out, dust them off and use them as a reminder to us all. Due to the death of my best friend and sister in law to leukemia, Relay for Life holds a huge spot in my heart in both real life and Second Life. I have worked with and blogged Second Life’s Relay for Life for 4 years now, mostly the modeling portion Fashion for Life that starts somewhere in late May and early June, but I have blogged Fantasy Faire SL once as well. I wasn’t asked to participate and didn’t see the sign up, but this is something I choose to blog just because of what they do. This is a huge fair every year and I hope you all get a chance to participate.

Charities in Second Life are always so fun, think about it, you don’t really do the giving, the designer does because they donate the product and the profits from you buying an item you want anyway goes to the charity, but the incentive is, the more we buy, the more the charity receives. Most of the time in the real world you give money and you gain the satisfaction of helping. In SL you get the satisfaction and something new. We buy stuff all the time, why not smart buy in a helpful manner instead? I call that a win-win!
