Hair Today Gone Tomorrow

The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Current bid on the Skip Staheli picture is 15,000 Lindens. Bidding ends July 26,2015. The first picture, which can be taken with me in the background with you, (I was thinking ala Hitchock style)  with the style of your choice. And my besty Skip has very graciously announced he will offer a Second picture of you for FREE! See why I love him so much? Follow this LINK to see some of his other work. To bid, you only need to contact me via one of the many different ways found at the very bottom of the page at this link,  HERE or simply by dropping an inworld NC to, Caoimhe Lionheart (yep that’s the name I go by inworld)  However as many of you know, I’m not inworld an awful lot, so NC will probably be more reliable than an IM though email at caoimhelionheart@yahoo.com is probably your fastest response. 🙂 You know me, Ms Indecisively Decisive ( I’m sure that’s what it said on the birth certificate I gave FB) 😉 Anywho, if you still can’t find me, contact Draakje Dailey, she’s usually stalking me anyway and can tell you exactly where I am. *cough*

This hat from Zibska would be a kick arse bandana on 2014 Hair Fair Bandana Day!

Each year we call out to the large community of Second Life to help us help Wigs for Kids. On the last day of Hair Fair we have Bandana Day (July 26th 2015), the day where we remove our hair to show we care, in support of those that have lost hair, or suffer from hair loss. Every year people from all over, not just the Hair Community, submit to use their bandanas they have made from the kits we provide, and they are then sold at 50L each (transferable) during Hair Fair on all four sims.

We have raised hundreds of extra USD each year with these bandanas, and it is also a great way to share and show community spirit, as people share their reasons behind wanting to help, as well as their creativity, and fun. The Bandanas have become almost collectable, with many people through the years telling me they have them from every year, or they wear them when they are at laggy events and so on.  This year with the help and talent of Mel Vanbeeck we have our first ever MESH Bandana, with baked shading textures, so they look even better, and can be easily textured as the UV’s were made with a perfect square texture in mind. If you have any questions regarding the day, please contact Sasy Scarborough in world.
